Install Plutonium
Get the free client from plutonium.pw, create an account and start Zombies.
Find a server
Open the server browser and search for PULSAR, or press ~ and paste a command from the servers page.
Join and play
The mod downloads when you join. In game, press Esc for the PULSAR menu and server list.
Playing Raid?
Raid is a custom map by Liam McCormack and doesn't download when you join. Get the usermaps download from the author's releases page and copy its zm_raid folder into %localappdata%\Plutonium\storage\t6\usermaps.
DLC5 map won't load?
Download the map below and unzip it into %localappdata%\Plutonium\storage\t6.

Is Black Ops 2 Zombies still playable online?
Yes. The official servers are quiet, but the free Plutonium client (T6) runs dedicated community servers like PULSAR with full Zombies, every map and anti-cheat.
Do I need to own Black Ops 2?
Yes. Plutonium needs your own copy of Black Ops 2 installed (for example from Steam). Game files are not provided here.
How do I join the PULSAR servers?
Start Plutonium, launch Zombies, open the server browser and search PULSAR. You can also press ~ and paste a connect command from the servers page.
Do I have to download the mod?
No. The PULSAR mod downloads automatically the first time you join. Only the custom map Raid needs a one-time manual install.
Which maps can I play?
Every Black Ops 2 Zombies map (Tranzit, Town, Bus Depot, Nuketown, Die Rise, Mob of the Dead, Buried, Origins), the DLC5 classics Kino der Toten, Five, Ascension and Moon, plus the custom map Raid.
Is it free?
Yes, playing is free. Premium is an optional one-off payment for VIP servers and extras.
